🎯 All DartsMatt League (DML) & Coaching, Terms & Conditions 

1. Eligibility

  • Players must be 18+ years old.

  • A valid Nakka account is required.

​

2. Registration & Entry Fees

  • Register via the DartsMatt website.

  • Entry fee must be paid to confirm participation.

  • An additional admin fee may apply.

  • Members get 100% discount. Sign up to membership on the DartsMatt.com home page.

  • Cancelling membership mid-league requires a one-time payment for the remaining balance.

3. League Format

  • League includes:

    • Seasons

    • Monthly tournaments

    • Quarterly majors

  • Matches played on Nakka 01 Online.

  • Please play your games in order. 

  • Fixtures and communication via Discord , Email, or Facebook.

  • Player A (home) contacts Player B (away) to arrange matches.

  • Each player must play 2 fixtures per month as a minimum requirement.

  • 15-minute late rule: if an opponent doesn’t show, the game is forfeited (X-0).

4. Match Rules & Gameplay

  • Bull up = outside, outer bull, or bullseye only.

  • Player A (home) throws first for bull.

  • Match format = Best of 10 legs.

  • Standard procedure:

    1. Throw darts

    2. Call out score clearly

    3. Enter score in Nakka

    4. Wiggle dart in doubles/trebles so opponent can see

    5. Remove darts

  • Camera setup:

    • Webcam/phone must clearly show the board.

    • New players must complete a 2-minute camera check with the organiser before playing.

5. Fair Play & Conduct

  • Follow Nakka rules and maintain sportsmanship.

  • No cheating, abusive behaviour, swearing, shouting, or offensive language.

  • Transparency required (opponents can request camera moves or dart wiggling).

  • Unsportsmanlike behaviour = ban + details shared with other leagues.

  • No negative representation of DartsMatt League online.

  • Raise issues or complaints by Support Ticket only.

  • You must have played 50% of your fixtures by "month 3" of the League season. For example, a league starts in January and ends in March. By the 1st of March, you must have played 50% of your fixtures. Failure to do so, you will be removed from the league with no refund.

6. Scoring & Reporting

  • Scores must be recorded on Nakka.

  • Order of Merit updated weekly.

​

7. Prizes & Payouts

  • Prizes depend on entry fees & membership revenue.

  • Approximate payouts of prize pot.​

    • Tournaments → 1st 65%, 2nd 35% (if prize pot > £50: 1st 50%, 2nd 25%, 3rd/4th 12.5%).

  • Approximate League → 1st 60%, 2nd 25%, 3rd 15%, 4th = Free entry next event. This structure changes per league and will be communicated via email.

  • Prize money may be held if complaints about fair play are unresolved.

  • Payout method chosen by DartsMatt.

  • Cash prizes can be changed at any time by the organiser.

  • 2025 Bonus: Order of Merit winner + most appearances win 5–10% of DartsMatt YouTube ad revenue (after tax).

8. Privacy & Data

  • By joining, you agree:

    • Data (name & email) may be shared with other league players to arrange matches.

    • You’ll receive DartsMatt newsletters & updates.

    • No data is shared with third parties.

  • Privacy & data sharing takes lower priority than fair play enforcement.

 

9. Disputes & Decisions

  • All disputes decided by DartsMatt.

  • Decisions are final.

  • Players are encouraged to record their screen in case of disputes.

 

10. Technical Issues

  • Lost connection → 15 minutes to reconnect, or forfeit match.

  • Game crash (both players) → restart leg.

  • Camera failure or too much lag.

    • Allowed 1 reboot per match.

    • More than 1 failure = disqualification.

    • If opponent’s camera fails, do not throw until resolved.

TOURNAMENT SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS

11. Tournament Rules (Extra)

  • Same terms as above, with additions:

    • Round robin → top players qualify for knockout. Typically, top 2 unless stared.

    • Tie-breakers: Points → Leg Difference → 3-Dart Avg → Head-to-Head → Random draw.

    • Uneven groups → "Next best finishers" qualify (based on averages only and 3rd places only).

    • Knockout matches must start within 10 minutes or result = DQ.

    • You must be online before 7pm. Anyone not online by 7:10 is withdrawn. 

    • If players do not show, I may move you to another group to balance the groups.

11. Tournament Rules (Extra)

  • All standard rules apply, with these additions:

  • Round robin → top players qualify for knockout.

  • Standard KO format (if 8 groups):

    • Winner of Group 1 vs Runner-up of Group 8

    • Winner of Group 2 vs Runner-up of Group 7

    • … and so on.

  • Uneven / Odd Groups:

    • Winners of each group automatically enter Knockout. as Player A.

    • Their opponents (Player Bs) will be drawn at random while trying to maintain new opponents for each KO first round.​​

 

12. When You Register

By joining a league you confirm:

  • You can play 2 games per month.

  • You have a PDC-standard board & oche length.

  • Your board will fill the screen - like picture below

  • The camera quality will be clear - like picture below

  • You accept the organiser’s decisions as final.

  • You will not share discount codes.

  • DartsMatt may remove you from any event at any time.

Rules & FAQs

✅ If someone leaves mid-season

  • Played 50% or less of fixtures → all results (including played ones) are void.

  • Played 51% or more → remaining matches count as 6–0 wins to opponents. Only if the player "leaves" or if a Support Ticket is raised against them.

  • Played 50% or more → No Support Ticket? Fixture remains incomplete, no points issued.

 

✅ If your opponent won’t respond

  • Try contacting them (Discord/Facebook/email).

  • If no reply, Raise a Support Ticket on dartsmatt.com.

  • No response = forfeit loss.

  • Persistent no-shows = removal from league.

✅ If someone doesn't complete games

  • Leagues are 3 months long. If you have not completed 50% of your fixtures by Month 3. You will be removed.

  • At the end of the season

    • Played 50% or less of fixtures → all results (including played ones) are removed and void.

    • Played 51% or more → nothing, unless a Support Ticket was raised at least 1 week before the end of the season deadline where DartsMatt can review and issue points based on the evidence provided.

 

✅ If your opponent doesn’t turn up

  • If they’re 15+ minutes late, you can claim a X–0 win (submit via Support Ticket).

  • Always provide evidence of attempted contact.

 

✅ If you lose WIFI/connection

  • You have 15 minutes to reconnect.

  • If not, opponent can claim a X–0 win.

  • If both crash → restart the leg (note scores).

  • Keep your opponent updated.

✅ If a player cancels your fixture​

  • If an agreed fixture time has been arranged and a player cancels within 24 hours of the scheduled match:

  • The non-offending player (Player A) will have the option to either:

  • Rearrange the fixture, at a mutually convenient time before the end of the game week, or

  • Claim a walkover victory by 6–3.

  • This decision is entirely at the discretion of the non-offending player.

  • If the fixture is rearranged and subsequently cancelled again by the same player, a 6–3 walkover will automatically be awarded to the opponent.

  • If the cancelation is before 24 hours, then please re-arrange accordingly.

Opponent’s camera not working

  1. Ask them to fix it.

  2. If unresolved, don’t throw darts.

  3. Contact the organiser via Direct Message (not public chat).

  4. Wait for the organiser’s decision.

Terms and Conditions – DartsMatt Coaching

Welcome to DartsMatt Coaching. These Terms and Conditions apply to all in‑person and online coaching services provided by DartsMatt Coaching. They are intended to protect both the coach and the participant. By booking or attending a coaching session, you agree to be legally bound by the terms below.

1. Bookings, Payments, and Pricing

  • All coaching sessions must be paid in full at the time of booking. No session is confirmed until payment has been received.

  • Prices are subject to change at any time; however, confirmed bookings will be honoured at the agreed rate.

  • DartsMatt Coaching reserves the right to decline or cancel a booking at its discretion, with a full refund issued if cancellation is made by the coach.

2. Cancellations, Refunds, and Rescheduling

  • Sessions may be cancelled by the participant with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled start time.

  • Any cancellation made within 48 hours of the session start time is non‑refundable.

  • Missed sessions or failure to attend without prior notification (email, phone call, text, or Discord) will result in full forfeiture of the booking fee.

  • Where notice exceeds 48 hours, a 50% refund may be offered at the sole discretion of DartsMatt Coaching to cover administrative, scheduling costs and lost coaching time costs.

  • Refunds, where approved, will be processed via the original payment method within 2 weeks.

3. Online Coaching (Remote Sessions)

  • Online coaching sessions are delivered exclusively via Discord.

  • When you send through Video Footage, DartsMatt retains the right to rejection the videos for any reason and request new videos. If this rejection is within 48 hours of the session, then the session will be re-scheduled and no additional cost.

  • Video footage must be received within 48 hours of your coaching session. Failure to do so will cancel your coaching. DartsMatt may offer an alternative time in the future but is not obligated to.

  • It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure they have a Discord account, a stable internet connection, a suitable device, and appropriate camera positioning where required.

  • DartsMatt Coaching accepts no responsibility for technical issues outside of its control, including Discord outages, poor connection quality, hardware failure, or user error.

  • Sessions disrupted due to participant technical issues, power, wifi, or anything to do with the participants infrastructure will not be refunded, extended, or re-run.

  • No recording, streaming, screen capture, or distribution of online coaching sessions is permitted without prior written consent from DartsMatt Coaching.

4. In‑Person Coaching and Venue Use

  • Participants must comply with all venue rules, health and safety requirements, and reasonable instructions given by DartsMatt Coaching.

  • Any venue hire fees, travel costs, or associated expenses must be agreed in advance and are non‑refundable unless otherwise stated.

  • DartsMatt Coaching is not responsible for venue‑related interruptions, closures, or conditions outside of its control.

  • If the participant/ students causes damage to any property on the coaching location or at DartsMatt's premises, they will be liable to pay for the damage, repair or replace.

5. Equipment Requirements and Assumption of Risk​​

  • Coaching is undertaken entirely at the participant’s own risk.

  • DartsMatt Coaching accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage to personal equipment, including damage caused by bounce‑outs, floor impact, or general body use during sessions.

6. Fitness, Injury, and Medical Disclaimer

  • Participants confirm that they are physically fit to take part in darts coaching activities.

  • Any existing injuries, medical conditions, or limitations that may affect participation must be disclosed prior to the session.

  • DartsMatt Coaching is not responsible for aggravation of existing injuries or conditions.

  • Coaching advice does not constitute medical or professional health guidance.

7. Junior Coaching and Safeguarding​

  • A parent or legal guardian must remain present for the full duration of junior sessions.

  • DartsMatt Coaching reserves the right to refuse, pause, or terminate any junior session where safeguarding requirements are not met, without refund.

8. Behaviour, Conduct, and Session Termination

  • Participants are expected to behave in a safe, respectful, and appropriate manner at all times.

  • DartsMatt Coaching reserves the right to end a session immediately without refund if behaviour is deemed unsafe, abusive, disruptive, or inappropriate.

  • Alcohol or substance misuse during sessions is strictly prohibited.

9. Coaching Disclaimer and No Guarantee of Results

  • Coaching is provided on a best‑endeavours basis.

  • No guarantees are given regarding performance improvement, match results, rankings, or competitive success.

  • Progress depends on individual effort, practice, and application outside of coaching sessions.

10. Intellectual Property and Content Use

  • All coaching materials, drills, session plans, and guidance provided remain the intellectual property of DartsMatt Coaching.

  • Materials may not be shared, reproduced, sold, or distributed without prior written consent.

  • DartsMatt Coaching may use anonymised feedback, statistics, or session outcomes for marketing purposes.

11. Photography, Video, and Media

  • Any photography or video recording during sessions requires prior consent.

  • Where consent is given, DartsMatt Coaching may use images or footage for promotional purposes unless explicitly withdrawn in writing.

12. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, DartsMatt Coaching’s liability is limited to the value of the session fee paid.

  • DartsMatt Coaching shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of earnings or competitive opportunities.

13. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

By completing a booking or attending a session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full.
